Happy October, HLA families! Fall testing is complete, and we look forward to connecting with you at our upcoming parent-teacher conferences. This newsletter includes the link for conferences, a payment update for our fundraiser and details about the few remaining spots to host a car at Trunk or Treat. Please read on for these updates and more!
Conferences Please sign up for your parent-teacher conference time here. Conferences will be held on:
Tuesday, October 13: 4:15–7:15 p.m.
Wednesday, October 21: 3:30–6:30 p.m.
Thursday, October 22: 12:30–3:30 p.m.

Pick a Date to Donate!
Payment update: Online donations are currently unavailable. Please donate by cash or check payable to Holland Public Schools.
Our HLA fundraiser runs throughout October! Choose a date on your child’s calendar and donate the matching amount—for example, October 5 = $5 or October 22 = $22. Every donation supports school events, classroom needs, and meals for teachers during conferences.
One student has already completed their entire calendar! Let’s keep the momentum going and make this fundraiser a success!
Classes will work toward these prizes:
1st place: Pizza party and a 30-minute glow dance party
2nd place: Ice cream party and 20 minutes of extra recess
3rd place: Donut party and 15 minutes of extra recess
All celebrations will be supervised by Directora Iliana. Please return donations by November 2. Winning classes will be announced on November 6.

Trunk or Treat
Halloween is right around the corner, and we have only FIVE spots left for Trunk or Treat participants!
Do you know a business, organization, or individual who would enjoy helping make this event special for our students? We’re looking for sponsors to decorate a vehicle and hand out treats.
