Fall Benchmark Update

We’ve finished our fall NWEA MAP testing! Our teachers will now review the results to form small groups and plan instruction that meets students’ needs.

We’re also organizing Tier II groups for students who would benefit from an extra boost toward proficiency. These small groups will work with our Title team, led by Mrs. Urbina. We’re focused on helping every student make academic gains this year!

Pick a Date to Donate! 

Our HLA fundraiser runs throughout October! Choose a date on your child’s calendar and donate the matching amount: October 5 = $5, October 22 = $22. Every gift helps support school events, classroom needs, and meals for teachers during conferences.

Classes will work toward these prizes:

• 1st place: Pizza party and a 30-minute glow dance party
• 2nd place: Ice cream party and 20 minutes of extra recess
• 3rd place: Donut party and 15 minutes of extra recess

All celebrations will be supervised by Directora Iliana. Please return donations by November 2. We’ll announce the winning classes on November 6. Thank you for supporting HLA!

Trunk or Treat

Halloween is right around the corner, which means Trunk or Treat is coming!

Do you know a business, organization, or individual who loves children and would like to join the fun? We are looking for sponsors to decorate a vehicle and pass out treats during our event.
