Celebrating 25 Years of Service

Holland Public Schools is proud to recognize Susan “Sue” Podein for her 25 years of dedicated service to our district. Sue is a valued member of the High School Nutrition Services team, where she serves students and staff each day with warmth and a smile. Working closely alongside our Central Kitchen Lead, Sue plays an essential role in ensuring fresh, high-quality meals—like our daily grill favorites of hamburgers and chicken patties—are ready for students at lunchtime. Beyond her skills in the kitchen, Sue’s positive attitude and commitment to student well-being make her a true asset to our team. She is also our longest-serving Nutrition Services staff member, a milestone that reflects her dedication and care. We thank Sue for her many years of service and encourage our students and staff to stop by the High School kitchen to say hello and congratulate her on this remarkable achievement.

Holland Public Schools is proud to recognize the outstanding work of our Central Kitchen Lead, Stacey Vigil. Stacey has served the district for 11 years and continues to demonstrate excellence in every aspect of her role. She supervises a team of nine dedicated staff members, ensuring that our high school students and staff receive nutritious and well-prepared meals each day. In addition to her leadership at the high school, Stacey also oversees our supper programs, which provide meals at five sites Monday through Friday, as well as our district catering program. Stacey’s professionalism, leadership, and commitment to student well-being exemplify the mission of our Nutrition Services Department, and we are grateful for her continued service to Holland Public Schools.
