HMS Musicians Earn High Ratings

#HPS Proud of our HMS band musicians!

HOLLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL:

Congratulations to the following Holland Middle School Band Students who received a “Division One Superior” rating for their solos, duet, or trio at the MSBOA Solo&Ensemble Festival!:

  • Floyd Webb, Alto Saxophone Soloist
  • Joey Bowes, Tenor Saxophone Soloist
  • Maggie Telgenhof, Marimba Soloist and Trioist
  • Nayeli Trevino, Flute Soloist and Duetist
  • Betty Nguyen, Flute Soloist and Duetist
  • Amillia Costa, Xylophone Soloist and Trioist
  • David McManus, Clarinet Soloist
  • MaKayla Clark, Glockenspiel Trioist
  • … and most notably Kimia McMullen who received a perfect “A” score in every single subcategory as a viola soloist.

Congratulations also to the following Middle School Band Student who received a "Division Two Excellent" rating for his solo at the MSBOA Solo&Ensemble Festival!:

  • Hank Webb, Trombone Soloist

We are very proud of these students because they all represented themselves and Holland Public Schools with commitment and honor.
