Holland Youth Advisory Council Donates Books to Jefferson
The Holland Youth Advisory Council (HYAC) held a book drive to benefit the students of Jefferson. Tuesday, they dropped off over 900 gently used books! Some books will go in the school library, some will go in classroom libraries, and some books will be given to the students at Jefferson to take home and add to their home library!

Nutrition Services is excited to bring a little extra fun to our cafeterias by celebrating special National Days throughout the school year. These give us another opportunity to make mealtime enjoyable, introduce students to different foods, and encourage participation in our school meal programs.
- National Taco Day | October 6 - We will kick off the month by celebrating with a delicious Breakfast Taco!
- Count Day Celebration | October 7 - All students in attendance will receive a refreshing Cool Tropics treat.
- National Apple Day | October 21 - We will celebrate by serving Apple Cobbler with lunch.
- National Pumpkin Day | October 26 - Everyone who eats lunch with us that day receiving a delicious slice of Pumpkin Bread.
Congratulations to Sam Huizinga (HHS Class of 2027) for being named a Commended Student in the National Merit Scholarship Program!
- Sam’s performance on the PSAT/NMSQT placed him among the top 50,000 students nationwide—roughly the top 4%.
Tulip Time Dutch Dance is an experience you’ll never forget — be part of something truly special! Dutch Dance brings people of all ages together to celebrate Tulip Time through music, movement, and tradition.
- All dancers planning to participate MUST REGISTER before January 9, 2027.
Once registration closes, no further dancers will be allowed to join. This is a firm deadline, set by Tulip Time.
