Constantino (middle) with HEF Members Kurt Jolly and Kate Bolt

Kristin Constantino is the latest HPS Teacher to receive a Teachers Live Here grant. Se was awarded $27,300 in down payment assistance toward. And, because she will purchase a home inside the district, she received an additional $2,500 to help pay closing costs

Ms. Constantino is a ASD Teacher at Holland Middle School.

I have been a proud employee of HPS since my first year of teaching 12 years ago. During thattime, I have always lived in the Holland community. I have biked to Tulip Time parades, walked tosporting events, and attended countless after school activities. I would not be able to do any of these things if I lived farther away and could not fully immerse myself in the school and city community.

Holland Public Schools is an incredibly special place where the city and schools come together to support one another. I am a continuous advocate for HPS and everything we have to offer. I would behonored to live and grow my family in this city. There is something to be said about living where youteach. I find more ownership in my work when I know that I am working for—and with—the people Ilive among. I am a proud member of the HPS community, and I hope to extend that to being a proudhomeowner in the Holland community as well.

With a strong belief in the impact HPS teachers are having on students and families in the district and with an understanding of the value they bring to the community as a whole, generous community members are investing in Teachers Live Here.  Teachers Live Here grants are administered through the Holland Educational Foundation.
