HPS is preparing for exciting changes in the Fall of 2027 and we want to share our plans with parents in the district. Please attend a Parent Information meeting about anticipated neighborhood zoning changes for our PreK-5 Elementary Schools on Wednesday, October 28, 6-6:45pm, in the Jefferson Elementary Cafeteria.

No School for ALL HPS STUDENTS on Friday, October 23.

Thursday is a half day for PreK+ - Grade 5 students.  (No school for Preschool students on Thursday & Friday)

Friday, October 23 is a day off for ALL HPS students for Fall Break.

EVERY student in the district will gain from ALL families completing the Education Benefits form.

• Monday, June 1: FULL Day of School for All Students
• Tuesday, June 2: HALF Day of School for All Students
• Wednesday, June 3: LAST Day \ HALF Day for All Students

Thursday, August 27: First Day of the 26-27 School Year

All Students have a half day on Thursday, May 7 to celebrate Tulip Time and to march in the KinderParade.

The Open Enrollment Period for limited spaces for non-resident school of choice families begins on May 1, 2026, and ends on May 29, 2026.
