West December News #1

Dear West Families,

Welcome to the first week of December! This snowy weather is a great reminder to send all of your student’s outdoor gear every day! This includes a coat, snowpants, boots, gloves or mittens, and a hat. Please consider labeling all of your student’s belongings with a permanent marker to help make sure clothing does not get lost. An extra pair of warm socks is a great thing to add into backpacks.

There are many events happening in December– The PBIS Gingerbread House Making Party, Candy Cane Grams, Breakfast with Buddies, Spirit Week, and a door decorating contest! We need YOU to pull it all off. Please check our West main page for volunteer and donation opportunities.

Another huge thank you to our West families for continuing to improve our Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedure. We are interested in creating a Parent Pick-Up Patrol to help us ensure the safety of students and to help keep traffic running smoothly. The PPP will help direct traffic, give reminders to drivers, help students get to cars, and more. We will be holding an informational meeting on Monday, December 8 at 4:00 PM.
