Winter Holidays Around the World Reading Night

When: Thursday, December 11th, from 5:30-6:30pm

Where: Jefferson

What: Discover traditions from Holidays that are celebrated during the Winter Months by our Jefferson Families. Come visit with Santa, learn to play Dreidel, make a Ramadan craft, learn the meaning of the Kwanza symbols, and sing along with traditional Las Posadas songs.

Kid's Hope Holiday Tree

Thank you to all who were able to take a tag from the holiday gift tree. 

If you have taken a tag, please have your gift returned to the main office or Central Weslyn by December 10th. Gifts should be wrapped and have the original tree tag with it (taped is great). 

Snow has arrived!

Please make sure your students have:

• Snow pants
• Jacket
• Snow Gloves 
• Boots
• Warm Hat
• Optional but helpful: easy slip-on shoes for them to put on while inside...boots are best for when they go outside!

*If you need help with ANY of the above items, please let your students' teacher know, and we will get them what they need. 

*If you have any of the above items that your child has grown out of, please consider donating them to our care closet. Simply bring them into the office, and we will pass them on to a student who needs them. 

Winter Break is coming quickly!

Our district winter break runs from 12/19-1/4 (school resumes Monday, Jan. 5th)

December 19th is a half day; students are released at 11:36am.
