Tulip Time Kinderparade is Thursday, May 7th:
Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for your 1st-5th grader to march!
Grades 1-5 are invited to march in the Tulip Time KinderParade on Thursday May 7. If you are planning on your child walking in the parade, they must have a costume and you must fill out this form by Monday, May 4.
Jefferson - Parade Permission Slip
On the day of the parade, school will dismiss at 11:35am. Students participating in the parade will need to return to their building by 1pm, dressed in their costume, to catch a bus with their classmates to the head of the parade route. The bus will leave the school at 1:15pm.
When they are done marching in the parade (approximately 3pm), you will pick up your child at the Kollen Park Band Shell no later than 3:15pm.
3rd-5th Specials with my Special Person!!!
May 8th: 3rd-5th-grade students may bring a special person to join their PE or Music class during specials time.
Times (classes are 45 minutes long):
5th: 9:15 am
4th: 10:05 am
3rd: 10:55 am
Testing: We have begun our Spring Testing. Please check with your child's teacher before scheduling any appointments in May.
SEL Suvey
As part of our district’s ongoing efforts to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive learning environment for all students, your child will be invited to take a Social Emotional Learning Survey this week. You can review the survey questions, request that your student opt-out of taking the survey, and see results from the Winter 2026 survey at the link below.

Enrollment for 2026-27 School year is Open!!!

Sinking Fund Proposal on the May 5 ballot-VOTE!
Holland voters will see a Sinking Fund Proposal on the May 5 ballot. In addition to supporting ongoing facility repairs and improvements, the updated language in the proposal would allow the district to use these funds for transportation and maintenance vehicles.
