Get Ready for FAFSA: Create Your FSA ID and Join Our Workshop

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens October 1. To complete it, both student and parent must each create an FSA ID, which is the username and password used to start the FAFSA. If a parent already created an FSA ID in the past for another college-bound child, recover that account and confirm the login details before starting. Creating or recovering your FSA ID early will make completing the FAFSA smoother and faster.
