2025 Seals of Biliteracy

HPS is celebrating its largest group of recipients of the Seal of Biliteracy
- 21 students received 21 seals in 4 languages other than English.
Since the state started awarded them in 2019, HPS has awarded 95 seals to 91 students in 12 languages.

To earn a Seal of Biliteracy: Students must earn 4 credits in English Language Arts and demonstrate high levels of proficiency in an additional language can earn the Seal of Biliteracy. To demonstrate this proficiency, students provide either a transcript showing they have studied in another language from 6th grade or beyond or earn at least Intermediate High on a state-approved assessment.
