Abby Hart is a senior this year, and this is her 3rd year in Vocals! Outside of Vocals, she is president of Dutch Theatre, and likes to watch movies and spend time with her friends. She will be attending SIUE in the fall for Theatre Education with a minor in Music Education. 

Ahava LeFebre (she/her) is a senior, and this is her 3rd year in Vocals! Outside of Vocals, she is the Character Chair in National Honors Society, participates in Student Senate and is Captain of the Varsity Women’s Tennis Team. She enjoys traveling, eating Chipotle and cheering on her beloved Michigan Wolverines. Next year, Ahava plans to attend Hope College to continue her tennis career and has chosen to major in Communications and Sports Studies. As always, Go Blue!

Amaris DeLeon is a senior, and this is her first year in Vocals! Outside of Vocals, she's involved in Student Senate, Teen Court through HYAC, Dutch Theatre, Varsity Softball & Cheerleading. During her free time, Amaris enjoys hanging out with friends, baking, and swimming in the lake! Amaris is currently undecided on which college she will be attending next year, but she will be studying Forensic Science and Criminology.

Cassidy Russell (she/they) is a senior, and this is her first year in Vocals. Outside of Vocals, Cassidy is a part of the school Art Club. During her free time, she likes to create art in different mediums, crochet, listen to music, and read. In the fall, she will be attending Hope College for Psychology and Neuroscience. She hopes to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology and Pediatric Therapy.

Chris Logan is a Junior this year in his second year in vocals. Outside of this ensemble, he is involved in Theatre, College Chorus at Hope (where he gets to sing with the creator of Vocal Dimensions), and participates in MSVMA-related activities such as State Honors Choir and Solo and Ensemble. He enjoys hanging out with friends, playing guitar, and serving at his church.

Eli Wolters is a sophomore at Holland High School, and this is his first year in Vocals. Eli is involved in a bunch of things around HHS! Eli plays varsity football, basketball, and baseball. He also takes part in theater and Student Senate! Outside of school, Eli enjoys to hangout with friends and family, especially on game nights! He also loves to play pickleball, and go fishing as well as camping!

Graham Thompson is a junior in his first year in Vocals. Graham is a member of NHS, the Holland Varsity Basketball Team, and a member of the Holland Varsity Golf Team. Outside of school and sports he enjoys yoyoing, running, and especially Shrek. Although only a junior, he has decided to go to college for TurfGrass Science and/or Agronomy and is excited to choose where he will continue his education.

Josiah VanFarowe (he/him) is a junior and in his first year of vocals. Josiah loves staying active by working out and being co-captain of the varsity tennis team. Outside of school he loves growing his small business, doing metal refining hanging out with friends and fishing. 

Ka’Shay Louks (she/her) is a junior in her second year in Vocals. She is involved in Teen Court, Rotary, and Dutch Theatre. Currently the theater department is performing The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, where she is the dance captain and plays Marcy. In her free time, Ka’Shay loves to read and bake desserts, especially cookies and cakes! 

Lan Tran (she/her) is a senior in her second year of Vocal Dimensions. Aside from Vocals, she’s part of the Holland High School Marching Band (HHSMB), in which she is captain of the color guard and was a soloist the past two seasons. When she’s not singing or out on the field with her flag, Lan enjoys analyzing her performance videos, expanding her closet, and having long conversations with friends. This fall, she plans to attend the University of Michigan for environmental and civil engineering.

Lorena Lopez-Koolhaas is a sophomore in her first year of Vocal Dimensions! Aside from vocals she is a part of holland theatre where she recently played Olive in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and she also likes hanging out with her friends and family.

Luke Rund-Scott

Olivia Weiss is a junior this year, and it’s her first year in Vocals! Outside of Vocals, she runs for the Holland Cross Country Team, serves as a captain of the Varsity Soccer Team, and competes on the Holland Track Team. She is also actively involved in NHS, the Shore Club, and the Rotary Club at Holland High. In addition, Olivia participates in the Unified Soccer and Basketball teams, which she really enjoys. In her free time, she loves drinking coffee and painting with watercolors. She also enjoys going on long walks with her family and her dog, Indie.

Olivia Zoet is a Senior and this is her second year in Vocals! She also serves as the Service Chair for NHS, and is Marketing Manager of Dutch Theatre. Outside of school she loves to play guitar, hangout with her family and friends, and test out which restaurants have the best ranch. In the fall she will be attending Hope College to study Worship Ministry and Youth Ministry. 

Owen Baer is a Senior and this is his 3rd year in Vocals. He is also Vice President of Student senate, and a member of HYAC and NHS. Outside of school and clubs, he likes lifting weights, drawing, and going on Meijer runs with his friends. He is currently undecided on schools, but plans to major in mechanical engineering this upcoming fall. 

Philip Swieringa (He/Him)  is a Senior and this is his first year in Vocals. He’s also a member of Dutch Theatre having participated in 7 shows to date. Outside of school he enjoys spending time with friends, and researching his favorite sport soccer (Though he has to watch Tottenham play every week). Philip plans to attend GVSU entering as an undecided major, and just see where the wind takes him. Philip REALLY likes cats.

Willem Bolt (he/him) is a Sophomore and this is his first year in vocals. Aside from Vocals, he’s involved in Dutch football and baseball. Outside of school, he enjoys hanging out with friends, staying active, attending youth group, and being in nature with his dog, Bruno.

Xavier Murphy (he/him) is a Senior and this is his 3rd year in Vocals. Outside of vocals, he’s involved in HYAC, Dutch Theatre, Captain of the Basketball, Baseball, and Football teams, and he also serves on Student Senate as the Communications Director. He likes to hang out with friends, stay active, and play pickleball. He is currently undecided but will be majoring in electrical engineering and minoring in communications at some college or university. His favorite candy is Sour Patch.


Sarah Malone is Holland High’s Director of Choirs has been teaching choirs for 20 years and in the Holland Public Schools since 2010. She co-founded the West Michigan Children’s Choir in 2010 and directed that ensemble for 12 years. Sarah is a 2006 graduate of Hope College and earned a Master of Music degree from Cleveland State University in 2010. She sings soprano in the Holland Chorale and continues to study voice with Nicholas Loren. Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan and they both stay busy with their twin thirteen-year-old daughters, Abbie and Ellen.

Becky Stewart-Wilson, a pianist, composer and arranger, recently moved to Allegan, Michigan from the South Bend, Indiana area where she was part of a vibrant arts community. She has done extensive accompanying in the Northern Indiana tri-county area that included professional, college, community and church instrumental ensembles and chorales. She received her B.S. in Piano Performance (1985, St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana) under the tutelage of Dr. Jeffrey Jacob. She pursued a career in establishing the Wilson Piano Studio, as well as doing arranging and professional theatre work in northern Indiana and southwestern Michigan. She became the choral director for Mishawaka High School in Mishawaka, Indiana in 2003. She taught for 15 years, receiving her M.A. in Education (2008, Bethel University, Mishawaka, Indiana) before returning to full-time piano accompanying and composing in 2018. She also has written two musicals. One is currently in workshop, WINGLESS, with a book written by Stephanie Salisbury of South Bend, Indiana. Currently, she is an accompanist with Holland Public Schools, Holland Chorale and West Michigan Children’s Choir. She enjoys spending time with her husband Doug and visiting with their children and grandchildren.

Brianne Roux is an alumna of Vocal Dimensions and has been choreographing for the group since 2013. She just started her own counseling practice in Holland and enjoys time with her husband Randy and their children, Addy and Henry. They look forward to welcoming their third child in April!

Landyn Beal is a 2018 alumnus of HHS Vocal Dimensions and has choreographed for the group since 2018. Landyn is a 2022 graduate of Liberty University with a degree in psychology and is currently finishing up his Master’s in Counseling from Western Theological Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his wife and serves as an assistant coach to the HHS Soccer Team.

Cora Grissom has choreographed for Vocals since 2023. She is a Holland High Vocal Dimensions alumna and currently attends Grand Valley State University, where she studies Allied Health Sciences on the Pre-Physical Therapy track. Outside of school, she is involved in GVSU’s Dance Troupe and Camp Kesem.
