Four Generations of Educators at HPS

For four generations, it's always been about the kids in Holland.

 


Irma Arzamendi worked at Lincoln School for 25 Years as an Instructional Assistant. She retired in 1997.

"I still am dreaming about the kids. I keep them very close to me." 

Gabriela Arzamendi Villarreal has been with HPS for 42 years as Special Ed and Bilingual Assistant. She started at Maplewood, Holland Heights, HLA, West and is now back at Holland Heights.

"I love the kids and the staff.  You always see the kids in the store and they come up to you and ask, "Are you still working at the school?"  It's so nice to be recognized." 

Lisa Trevino has been a Special Ed Assistant for 3 years at Jefferson.

"I think its special to meet new kids and families. The staff at Jefferson has been so supportive. It is has been so exciting and challenging, but fun!"- Lisa Trevino

Analyce Rates is in year-one as a One-on-One Special Ed Assistant at Holland Heights.
