HPS Celebrates 2026 Hispanic Heritage Month

From September 15 through October 15, Holland Public Schools proudly joins our nation in celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month. This annual observance recognizes the rich histories, diverse cultures, and enduring contributions of individuals whose ancestry traces back to Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Spain.

In Holland Public Schools, we are privileged to serve students and families representing cultures from across the globe. The rich traditions, languages, histories, and perspectives of our Hispanic and Latino community members enrich our classrooms, strengthen our schools, and inspire our daily learning environment.

Throughout the month, our schools will host a variety of educational activities, cultural displays, and community events designed to honor the achievements and leadership of Hispanic individuals past and present.

We invite our entire school community to join us in participating in these events, celebrating the vibrant diversity within our halls, and continuing our commitment to a welcoming environment where every student belongs and thrives.
