Chess Board Auction
SOLD!!!! This chess set, made by the Construction and Technology teams in Advanced STEM, went to the highest bid of $1500. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Community Action House and the HMS Greenhouse.
For the past 3 months two teams of students in Advanced STEM have worked on designing their own chess board and designing/3D printing Holland-specific chess pieces! Half of the proceeds from the auction will go to the Community Action House and half will go towards upgrades to the HMS Greenhouse. See coverage from WOOD-TV.
