Congratulations to Holland HS Soccer on their OK Green championship!
Holland won the OK Green Conference Championship by beating Mona Shores 6-0 in the Conference Tournament Championship. Jack Klomparens had two goals and two assists, Axel Gonzalez had two goals, Isaiah Arredondo had a goal, Levi Hondered had a goal, Abraham Arellano had an assist, and Chandler DeWitt had an assist for Holland. Goalie Paul Klomparens and defenders Jackson VanHekken, Sam Jimenez, T.J. Vreeman, Cristian Diaz, and DeWitt earned the shut-out. “We played very well tonight,” said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. “I thought the Mona Shores goalie played really well, but our pressure caused mistakes and led to good goal scoring opportunities. It was a good match for us to build confidence going into the district tournament next week.” Holland finished their regular season 13-1. The Holland JV tied Mona Shores 1-1 and ended their undefeated season with a record of 11 – 0 – 1.
