Stadium Update
Holland Public Schools is incredibly grateful to the community for supporting the 2025 Millage Proposal. Funding will help build a new outdoor facility to support Athletics programs, Marching Band, and provide space for large community gatherings.
- Work will begin this Spring, following Softball/Baseball seasons.
- Construction of new facilities, bleachers, and field will begin in the Fall of 2026.
- Ribbon cutting and first ever HOME Football game will be held in the Fall of 2027.

The Holland Hospital School Nurse Program's School Nurse Fun Run is October 1. On this week's podcast we talk with Colleen Perdock from Holland Hospital about tis 14th Annual event that has raised $432,400 since 2013.
Coming to school is essential for student success especially at the start of the School year.
- Absenteeism in the first month of school can predict poor attendance throughout the school year.
- Half the students who miss 2-4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school.
- Improving attendance improves academic and career prospects and chances of graduating on time!

More than just a fun event, the Holland Hospital School Nurse Fun Run directly supports Holland Hospital's School Nurse Program.

Students can enter the Fun Run for FREE by making a goal to improve their health. This could be a physical challenge, a change in eating habits, or starting a new wellness activity.
Thanks to community support, this event has raised over $432,400 since 2013.
As Holland High School prepares to host the last home football game of the season, here is a reminder about some of the rules and expectations for students and families who attend the game:
- Middle school age and younger MUST be an accompanied by an adult.
- No student backpacks.
- No re-entry for any spectators.
- All school rules apply to events held at Hope College.
- The stadium and parking lot is a drug free school zone which includes any vape products.
- HHS Students with 5Star App will be admitted for FREE.
- HMS Students with an athletics pass will be admitted for FREE.
Holland will host Godwin Heights at the Hope College Stadium, Thursday at 7pm. #GoDutch
