Celebrating Mr. Cal's 90th Birthday!
Mr. Cal has been volunteering at HPS since 2000. First at Longfellow and then at Jefferson. He works in our Books and Games program and runs a chess club with students.
Happy 90th Birthday Mr. Cal, and thank you for all you do for the students and families at Jefferson Elementary.
He is known for challenging kids on their math facts, his love of teaching and playing chess, and his bag of tootsie rolls that he keeps in his pocket to reward kids with.
He comes to ALL of our after-school functions and is willing to fix anything he can.

Students & families from each of the K-5 Elementary Schools are encouraged to come to the Varsity Football Game on Friday Night for Elementary Night at Dutch Football. We're talking about it this week with HHS Athletic Director Blake Muller.

HPS K-5 students are invited to participate in pre-game and halftime activities at the Dutch Football game on Friday, September 11 at 6:45pm.
