Student Led Conferences

Holland High School is pleased to announce the dates for our upcoming Student-Led Conferences: February 18 and 24, 2026 from 3:30-6:30pm. These conferences are a regular part of our school's approach to involving students in their educational progress.  Student participation is required.

We’re also excited to offer family engagement stations in the Commons, complete with a free pizza dinner. Families can visit interactive stations focused on communication, goal setting, study skills, budgeting, and more. This will be available both nights, from 4-5:30 pm so you can stop by before or after your conference!   Check out the flyer for more information!

Scheduling Your Conference

Your child’s Advisory teacher will send you a conference code through Remind. To schedule your conference, go to www.ptcfast.com/parentlogin.php and enter the code provided by the Advisory teacher. If you do not receive a code, please contact your child’s Advisory teacher for assistance.

Understanding Student-Led Conferences

Student-Led Conferences are an opportunity for students to take an active role in their education by presenting their academic achievements, challenges, and goals to their parents and teachers. Your child is preparing for this conference by selecting representative work samples, analyzing their learning strengths and weaknesses, and setting goals for the rest of the school year.  This approach allows students to reflect on their learning, fostering self-awareness and responsibility.

Why Participate in Student-Led Conferences?

  • Student Empowerment: Students lead the discussion about their learning, promoting engagement and confidence.

  • Skill Development: The process helps students hone important skills like self-evaluation, communication, and goal-setting.

  • Comprehensive Insights: Parents get a well-rounded view of their child's academic progress, directly from the student's perspective.
