  • Meet the HOLLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL Food Service Staff
  • No Cost Breakfast

Fresh Fruits & Veggies: Our students are having a wonderful time exploring and tasting a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables at school. This month, they will be introduced to some fun and nutritious options such as golden beets, asparagus with dip, orange wedges, and kiwi slices—just to name a few. These opportunities help encourage healthy eating habits and allow students to discover new foods in a positive, supportive environment. Providing fresh, nutritious produce to our students is something we truly value, and seeing their excitement and smiles makes it especially rewarding.

Holland Middle School Food Service Staff:

Lead Server Melissa has been a dedicated member of the Nutrition Department for the past five years and has stepped into the role of Lead Server. She works alongside a team of three, ensuring our students are served delicious and nutritious meals each day, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Melissa is a proud mom of four and a grandmother to three, with a fourth grandchild on the way! She came to Holland Public Schools because her family has a long history of HPS graduates, and her grandchildren are currently students here. Her favorite part of the job is being creative and encouraging students to try new menu items, such as fruity Jell-O, the breakfast bar offered on half days, and her popular mango salsa. Thank you, Melissa, for being an amazing Lead Server and for training your staff with care and dedication as you help nourish our students every day.

Allie Trevino - Juan Luevano-Reyes - Kia McBride - Food Service Servers – Holland Middle School -Allie, Juan, and Kia make up the dedicated food service team at Holland Middle School. Each day, they serve our students delicious and nutritious meals, from breakfast to lunch and snacks, ensuring students are well-fed and ready to learn. Working under the leadership of Melissa Ramos, this team is learning the tricks of the trade while continuing to grow in their roles. They are always available to support both students and staff and take pride in creating a welcoming and caring environment in the cafeteria. Thank you all for your dedication and commitment to Holland Middle School. Your hard work does not go unnoticed!

No Cost Breakfast: All of our buildings provide breakfast daily for our students, and we love seeing them start their morning enjoying a meal with their friends. Whether it’s a simple bowl of cereal, a delicious fruity parfait, or a warm and comforting breakfast entrée, there is something for every student. We encourage you to have your child(ren) join us and be a part of our wonderful breakfast program at their school.
