HHS Thanks Families for Helping Shape Our Work

Holland High School extends a sincere thank you to the 112 parents and guardians who completed our Fall Parent Survey in October. Your voices matter—and we are grateful for the time you took to share your experiences, hopes, and ideas for our school.

Over the past month, our staff has reviewed the survey responses, identifying strengths to celebrate and opportunities to grow. We want you to know that your feedback is already influencing our work. From communication improvements to expanding learning opportunities, your input helps guide our decisions and strengthen the support we provide to every student.

One clear theme that emerged was that parents want clearer, more meaningful ways to engage in their student’s education. In response, we are excited to launch a new 👉 HHS Parent Partnership Form — a simple way for families to share how they might like to get involved. Whether you’re interested in volunteering, donating resources, or connecting students with community opportunities, we welcome your partnership.

Additionally, some parents expressed concerns about inconsistent discipline practices. We want to acknowledge this feedback openly, as we are committed to ensuring that expectations and consequences are clear, fairly applied, and transparent. To support this transparency, we are sharing our 👉 Behavior Management Process Flow Chart. We invite families to review this resource, and welcome any follow-up questions or conversations. Please contact any HHS administrator if you would like to discuss our practices or learn more about how we support students.

Thank you again for being active partners in your student’s success. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected Holland High School community.
