There are two very important proposals on the Tuesday, May 6 ballot for voters in the City of Holland. 

  • If you haven't already voted, please plan to on Tuesday!

Holland Public Schools 19.2523 mill Non-Homestead Operating Mileage Renewal:

  • This millage renewal will generate $13,295,000 in 2026.
  • It represents approximately 30% of the HPS operating budget.
  • This operating millage only applies to business, commercial, second homes, and similar properties. 
  • It does not apply to your primary residence.

Ottawa Area ISD Special Education Millage:

  • This millage would generate an estimated $4,545,865 in 2025, if approved. 
  • Funds are distributed by the OAISD to local school districts, including Holland Public Schools, to help fund special education services.
