Karinna Martinez Documentary Earns Award from C-SPAN
Karinna Martinez (12th Grade) was recognized today for her Honorable Mention winning entry in C-SPAN's annual student video documentary competition, StudentCam.
Holland Mayor Nathan Bocks was joined by Members of LAUP leadership, C-SPAN and Comcast representatives, and Holland Early College classmates and teachers to recognize Karinna.
More than 5-thousand students nationwide earned an award for their entry into the completion. Only 5 students from Michigan were selected. Karinna was awarded a $250 cash prize.
