2025-26 Student Registration
As we prepare for the start of the next school year, it's time register your student for 2025-26. This is something we ask ALL current HPS families to do EVERY year. Completing the registration lets us know:
- Your student(s) will be returning next year!
- Your household contact information is up to date
- Your student health information is up to date
- if you are requesting transportation for the 2025-2026 school year (Deadline to request bussing is August 1.)
Without this information, your student can not be added to a class list for next year OR have a class schedule created for them.
- Register by May 21 to be in the running for a $100 Meijer gift card.
It doesn't take long to update this information in your Parent Portal account - but it is so important that you do it very soon!Read Full Article Share

Other factors such as gender and ethnicity are taken into account in order to provide balanced classrooms. It should be noted that a variety of circumstances such as: changes in staff positions, changes in enrollment or specific individual needs may impact student placements. Class placements are made by the building principal in compliance with HPS Board of Education Policy 5120.
Composting Update
Holland West continues to Compost like Champions. In our first 3 weeks of collection, we have kept 59 pounds of food waste from the landfill and are slowly transforming it into compost. We will continue to collect every Friday until the end of the year!
