Free Christmas Tree - MONDAY, November 17
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Get into the holiday spirit with a free Christmas tree for your family! There will be a variety of artificial, decorated trees to choose from. Please register here to sign up: https://forms.gle/YwGqQBvcWgikaWVk7 . Spots are limited, so the sooner the better!
Location: 435 Van Raalte Ave, Holland, MI . 
Date: Monday, November 17th
Pick-up Time: 5:00–7:00 PM
Parking: Please park on 19th Street near the corner of Van Raalte Ave.
Transportation Help: We can arrange transportation for your tree if needed, but you must attend the event to choose your tree in person.

Boys & Girls Club of Greater Holland
HPS/Boys & Girls Club Kindergarten Pilot Program
Attention Kindergarten parents,
Holland Public Schools is exploring a pilot program for after-school care for Kindergarten students in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club. This program would provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment for Kindergarten students after the regular school day.
There would be no cost to parents after the $5 registration fee with the Boys & Girls Club. Students and parents would also need to take part in an orientation with the Boys & Girls Club.
This program will begin in January.

Palabras Poderosas Family Night - THIS WEDNESDAY
Confirm Attendance Today! Calling all pizza lovers! Join us for HLA’s Family Night: Palabras Poderosas on Wednesday, November 19, from 6:00–7:00 p.m. Come learn fun vocabulary strategies with our teachers and take home activities you can use for extra practice.
Space is limited, so don’t wait, confirm your attendance no later than November 10 to secure your spot and dinner! Confirm attendance here.

Pick a Date to Donate was a great success thanks to your generosity!
Because of your incredible support, we were able to raise a total of $9,153.
A huge shout-out to Mrs. McNeil’s class, the highest-earning classroom!
And congratulations to Zayden Trilla and Harrison Perdok, our top two students who brought in the most donations.

VIP Day was a huge success!
We welcomed 241 VIPs for 304 students, a 79% participation rate!
Thank you, families and friends, for taking the time to be here, engage in classroom activities, and experience our learning community firsthand. Your presence truly matters. Our students lit up with pride having their “Very Important Person” by their side, and the energy you brought into our school made the day unforgettable.
From classroom vocabulary challenges, hands-on activities, and shared reading, to simply being present with your child, you helped make this one of our most memorable VIP Days yet.
