December 7, 2025

As we head into our final two weeks before Winter Break, our focus is on finishing strong. When we return in January, we will only have a few short days before beginning our winter benchmark assessments.

Please continue encouraging your child to read, read, and read some more. Pause with them to notice new vocabulary, talk about word patterns you see, and ask them to teach you our Word of the Day, which we introduce each morning during announcements.

The best way for our students to grow as readers, and as learners, is by consistently reading and building their vocabulary “word bank.” Thank you for your partnership in supporting learning at home each and every day.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Reminders

To help keep our lines moving safely and efficiently:

  • Please remain in your car during drop-off and pick-up.

  • When exiting the school parking lot, right turn only, please.

We experience heavy traffic at peak times, and left turns create unsafe bottlenecks. Your cooperation keeps our flow running smoothly for everyone, thank you!

Holiday Spirit Week

Help your child join the fun as we spread cheer during the last week before break!

  • Monday, December 15: Holiday pajama day

  • Tuesday, December 16: Holiday accessory day

  • Wednesday, December 17: Holiday sweater day

  • Thursday, December 18: Holiday sock day

  • Friday, December 19: Red and green day

Toys for Tots 🎁

Our Toys for Tots donation box is located in the school foyer. If you are able, we invite you to take your child shopping to select a toy to donate. This is a beautiful chance to teach generosity during the holiday season.

All donated toys remain right here in our local community, supporting families in need. Thank you for helping us spread joy.
