Another Teachers Live Here Grant Awarded
HMS Social Studies Teacher, Kyle Liechty is the latest recipient of the $25,700 Teachers Live Here grant.
Kyle Liechti is the first recipient of a Teachers Live Here grant during the second cycle of the program. Kyle received a check for $25,700 toward the down payment of a home. And, because the home he and his wife purchased is located within the school district boundaries, Kyle will also receive an additional $2500 in closing cost assistance.

Liechty is in his first year of teaching Social Studies at Holland Middle School. During the 22-23 school year he served as a long-term sub at Holland High School.
With a strong belief in the impact HPS teachers are having on students and families in the district and with an understanding of the value they bring to the community as a whole, generous community members are investing in Teachers Live Here. This program will provide HPS teachers with the opportunity and the incentive to live where they teach.

There are still 12 Teachers Live Here grants available for teachers in the district during the second cycle of the program. The second cycle will close in June of 2024.
