Scheduling Classes at HHS for next school year

Holland High is preparing to schedule next year's classes.  Students and their Parents/Guardians have the opportunity to select from many great class options.  The scheduling process is completed online, and requires your participation.   

Online course planning schedule:

  • Current 11th grade students (Class of 2024)
    • Online planning window opens February 20, 2023
    • Individual planning meetings with counselors…Feb. 28, 2023 - March 9, 2023
  • Current 10th grade students (Class of 2025)
    • Online planning window opens February 20,2023
    • Planning meetings with counselors…March 13, 2023 - March 17,  2023
  • Current 9th grade students (Class of 2026)
    • Online planning window opens February 20,2023
    • Planning meetings with counselors…March 20, 2023 - March 24,  2023
  • Current 8th grade students (Class of 2027)
    • Online planning window opens February 20,2023
    • High School Counselors in Middle School Classes … February 20-22, 2023

You and your student will access the Infinite Campus Portal to begin your child’s course planning. Students will receive instructions and other valuable planning information during their advisory and core classes. Parents are asked to discuss course plans with their students.

Our master schedule is built and driven by initial course selections. Selecting appropriate courses on the initial course plan is extremely important. After the scheduling process is completed, changes are discouraged and will be based on the following criteria: to correct deficiencies, to correct placement errors, and to ensure enrollment in classes required for graduation.

While assisting your child in selecting classes, please keep the following in mind:

  • Classes that have an A and a B section should both be selected (i.e. English A, English B).
  • Music students - please select the course in which you are currently enrolled.
  • Check prerequisites in the course guide before making a selection.
  • Advanced Placement and music performance courses are year-long commitments and may have summer requirements.  Select these courses with certainty because they will not be dropped.
  • These course plans are requests, NOT guarantees.  
  • Save changes before logging out of Portal.
