Clean Out Locker Reminder: Students, please make sure you clean out your locker(s) by Tuesday, June 6.  Any items left behind will be added to the lost & found box outside the main office.  Thank you and have a great summer!

Foreign Exchange Experiences: 9th and 10th Graders, would you like to attend a school in another country, and learn a new culture or language? Rotary Club will be starting its exchange process over the summer.  Talk to your parents/guardians and consider doing a year abroad in the 2024-2025 school year (2023-2024 school year would be preparing you for your outgoing exchange)  Contact Catherine Ristola Bass.

 

Families, are you willing to open your home to incoming exchange students?  The Rotary Club of Holland will be hosting a Japanese student for the 2023 - 2024 school year.  If you would like to host and share your family experiences with a young adult or show them the Holland culture.  Contact Catherine Ristola Bass.

Trenchant is a formal word that is usually used to describe communication that is notably strong, clear, and perceptive, or in other words, “sharp.”

 

The author’s trenchant wit was very evident in the critique she wrote of the much-acclaimed film.
