Dutch Nerd Army turns focus to the State tournament.
In Quiz Bowl action Monday night, the Dutch Nerd Army finished the regular season on a strong note by performing well at the year-end roundtable tournament. The highlight of the evening was the first place finish by Holland High's JV team of Adam Alderson, Eleanor McMullen, and Ben Rund-Scott. Their victory on the evening gave them first place overall in the league. The future is bright. The Varsity teams of Will Green, Holle Lo, Josh Munguia, Alyssa Price, James Baer, Heidi Chung, Melania Rocha, and Cora Van Faasen both were the top Holland teams at various portions of the tournament. The team entered the evening in third, but, unfortunately, faded a bit at the end to finish fourth overall. The DNA had a great season, represented Holland High well, and now we turn our focus to the State tournament.
