Dutch Football Fridays

New rules & limited tickets for Dutch Football games in 2020.

Holland Dutch Football Fans,

As you know our first home football game of the 2020 Season is Friday night at 7 at the Ray and Sue Smith Stadium on the campus of Hope College against Muskegon. Our team is ready and excited to finally take the field! And we know you are excited to show your support for your team!

However, due to the COVID-19, there are new rules you need to know about before Friday’s game:

  • A limited number of tickets have been printed for this game and have already been distributed through the Athletic Departments at Holland High and Muskegon High.
  • No additional tickets will be sold at the gate.
  • Please do NOT come to the stadium unless you have tickets for the game.
  • The parking lot at the stadium will be limited to ticket-holders. HPS Staff will monitor the parking lot and will not allow vehicles to enter the parking lot without a ticket.
  • Please do NOT drop off young Dutch football fans unless they have a ticket for the game.
  • EVERYONE participating in the game and EVERYONE watching the game will be required to wear a mask over their mouth and nose. Failure to do so could result in ejection from the stadium.
  • Fans will be required to leave at least 6-feet of space between themselves and anyone not in their household.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at the gate for all ticket holders.
  • There will be no concession stand. Bathrooms will be open.

Compliance with these rules will help ensure the teams will get to play the rest of their season without cancellation. More importantly the rules will protect the health and well-being of our players, students, and the Holland (and Muskegon) community.

The Holland Athletic Department will broadcast a live video stream of the game on our facebook page. Click here to watch live.

HPS Athletic Director
