Picture Day: Picture Day is FRIDAY! Forms will be given out at open house or where given at 6th grade night.

Bussing: Parents can access transportation information through your parent portal LINK..  If you see an error, please contact transportation at 616-494-2952.

Schedules: Schedules are now able to be viewed in the parent portal.  After Labor Day, we will no longer make schedule changes unless there is an error, such as two math classes.

Reminder about HPS's wireless communication device policy: All wireless communication devices (including smartphones, smart watches, tablets, laptops, earbuds/pods, wireless headphones, and smart glasses) must be stored in your backpack and OFF during the entire school day, from the first bell to the last bell, including lunch and passing time. Students may use these devices before and after school.

Important notice regarding food deliveries: The use of food delivery services, including but not limited to DoorDash, GrubHub, UberEats, restaurant delivery, etc., is not permitted by students or parents during the school day. If necessary, parents may personally drop off lunch to the main office during the designated lunch period.

Attendance Matters! Regular attendance is an important part of your student’s success. Missing more than 10% of school days can make it more difficult for students to keep up academically and may increase their risk of struggling in high school and beyond.

Parents and guardians can help by:

  • Helping your student develop a consistent morning “get ready” routine.

  • Having a Plan B for transportation in case your student misses the bus.

  • If your student is sick, please call the school to let us know.

  • When possible, provide a doctor’s note so the absence can be excused.

Every day at school is an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow. Thank you for partnering with us to help your student to be successful!

Clubs: Clubs will begin after Labor Day. If you are interested in helping run a club, please reach out to rbair@hollandpublischools.org . We are compiling our list currently and will send this information out as soon as it is ready.
