West May News #2
Dear West Families,
With only three full weeks left, we still have so much to do!!! M-STEP and NWEA testing, VELO Kids Bike School, West Test Celebration, 5th and 6th Bingo Night, field trips and more!!
Our third graders are the last group to take M-STEP!! This Tuesday and Wednesday, third graders will be taking the ELA portion of MSTEP. Make-ups will also begin this week and run through Friday, May 22. Please remember to have your student(s) get a good night of sleep, be on time to school, and have a great breakfast!
As a special celebration for our hard working West students, we will have a West Test Celebration on Monday, June 1. This month, while students are taking assessments, they will be earning PBIS Test Tickets. Students need to show their Testing Power to earn tickets– Pride, Engaged, and Respect. We welcome any support for the Test Celebration!! Check-out our Sign-up Genius site for more information.https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D4EADA728A6FD0-64029210-west
The 2026 Summer Adventure Camps with the Outdoor Discovery Center is an engaging summer program designed for students going into Kindergarten through 5th grade. As we prepare for the start of the next school year, it's time to register your student for 2026-27. This is something we ask ALL current HPS families to do EVERY year. https://www.hollandpublicschools.org/pub/news/posts/3515.
As always, please contact our administrative team with any questions or concerns!
