Spring Pastries & Principals (April 24)

Summary and Feedback Invitation

Thank you to the families who joined us for this event! We appreciated the thoughtful conversation and valuable feedback shared.

A few key themes emerged. Parents value clear, consistent communication—especially through tools like Remind, website news stories, and Infinite Campus—as well as timely reminders about schedules, calendar updates, and important events. There was also interest in making information more accessible through a centralized “one-stop” resource hub where families can easily find key updates, opportunities, and supports.

Families shared a desire for more regular, open opportunities to provide feedback—not just when concerns arise, but also to celebrate positive experiences. There was interest in creating consistent ways to gather input throughout the semester. Parents also emphasized the importance of meaningful engagement opportunities that are purposeful and consistent, including experiences where families and students can learn together (topics like digital literacy, wellness, and extracurricular involvement were highlighted).

Additional feedback included a need for clearer guidance around course options and scheduling, continued refinement of communication around athletics and activities, and opportunities to better connect students and families with community resources. These insights will help guide our next steps, including planning for a 9th grade family engagement night this August to better support our incoming students and families.

If you were unable to attend—or would like to share additional input—we would love to hear from you. Please take a moment to complete our feedback form:
