End of the Year Field Trips and The Expectations
- 6th Grade: JOHN BALL ZOO- May 18th
- 7th Grade: AIR ZOO- April 30th
- 8th Grade: Michigan Adventures- May 27th
Dear Families,
As we look forward to our upcoming end-of-the-year field trips, we want to ensure that these experiences celebrate students who consistently demonstrate leadership, responsibility, and effort in our school community.
Field trips are a privilege and an opportunity to recognize students who are present, engaged, and showing their best effort both academically and behaviorally. In order to attend the end-of-year field trips, students must meet the following requirements for Quarter 4:
1. Attendance
Fewer than 5 unexcused absences (Excused absences are by parent call in and/or doctor’s note)
2. Academic Expectations
Passing at least 5 out of 7 classes (Same as sports eligibility)
3. Behavior Expectations
5 or less RTC visits in quarter 4
No Suspensions in quarter 4
Students must demonstrate that they are leaders in the classroom, present each day, and put forth their best effort in order to participate. Field Trip information will come out closer to each trip.
**If a student submits payment and later becomes ineligible due to not meeting the requirements above, guardians will be reimbursed.
We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing the importance of attendance, academic progress, and positive behavior. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s progress toward eligibility.
