10th Graders Invited to Apply for Early College

Holland Public Schools is proud to partner with Davenport University and Hope College to offer two unique Early College options.  In both programs, students take a blend of high school and college courses during high school and commit to a 13th year. This is a pathway for high school students to gain college credits and an early taste of college life, at no cost

 

ALL 10th graders are invited to apply to be part of the Early College Program.  Those Interested should complete the Early College Application by Thursday, March 28th.

  • Davenport University offers a variety of Associate's Degree programs, classes offered at Holland High focus on the Business and Medical Assisting Associate’s Degrees.  
  • Hope College early college program is specific to students interested in pursuing a degree in education. Students will be able to complete the first two years of their Bachelor’s Degree in Education with this program.

We will also collect Teacher Input and complete an Academic Progress Sheet to determine eligibility.  If you have questions regarding the application, please feel free to contact Mrs. Loveland at dlovelan@hollandpublicschools.org.

​An ideal applicant has the following:

- A high school GPA of 2.5 or higher (2.0-2.4 will also be considered)
- Completed all Michigan Merit graduation requirements (on track for graduation)
