Scholarship Season at Community Foundation of Holland/Zeeland

Check out these scholaship opportnities and deadlines from CFZH.
FEBRUARY 14 (Valentine’s Day) DEADLINE
- Fifteen $2,000 Haworth Scholarships for children of Haworth employees.
- Two $2,000 Haworth Skilled Trades Scholarships are available to the public! To be considered, students must be enrolled in or entering a certification, associates (A.A.A.S.), or skilled trade/vocational program that will support a manufacturing career in one of the following areas: Carpentry, CNC Machining/Programming, Electrical, Electronics Technology, Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning [HVAC] Technician, Industrial Maintenance, Machinist, Machine Repair, Manufacturing Technology, Model Maker, Plumbing, Tool and Die, Welding, etc.
Haworth applications are due at 5:00 p.m. on February 14.
MARCH 1 DEADLINE
The following scholarship opportunities are NEW! Students should use the general scholarship application to apply:
- Franz Family Scholarship for Families Impacted by Cancer for a graduating high school senior who attends public, private, or home school in the primary service area of the Community Foundation and qualifies as a cancer patient or survivor; or a sibling or child of a cancer patient, survivor, or victim
- Alexa Lindsey Memorial Scholarship for a graduating high school senior, graduating early college student, or current college student from a public, private, or home school in the primary service area of the Community Foundation who has been impacted by adoption (not necessarily as an adoptee)
- Chad Wolff Memorial Scholarship or for a Holland High School graduating senior with special needs, or a student with plans to become a special education teacher, or a student athlete, or an athletic team supporter
- Eagle Scout Community Service Scholarship for Eagle Scouts
