HHS Fall State Testing Day

Our Fall State Testing Day is Wednesday, October 18.  All 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will be taking State Tests on that day.  Continue reading to review the unique testing schedule, and information for Seniors.

HHS State Testing Schedule:  Testing will take place in the morning only.  Therefore, school will be a half day and students will be released at 10:50am.

Who is Testing?  All 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will be testing.  The following tests prepare students for their 11th grade SAT Test taken in the Spring.  That test plays a large role in college admissions and scholarship opportunities.

  • 9th Graders will take the PSAT 9
  • 10th Graders will take the PSAT10
  • 11th Grade will take the PSAT/NMSQT

*NEW* This Year:  State Testing will be taken digitally.  Therefore, all students need to bring their fully charged computer on Testing Day.

Room Assignments:  Students will be emailed specific room assignments prior to Testing Day.

What about Seniors/12th Graders?  Seniors do not participate in our school State Testing days.  Instead, Seniors will follow one of the following schedules:

  • Careerline Tech Center Seniors are still required to attend CTC for their morning session.  Bus transportation is provided like normal.
  • Davenport University Seniors are still required to attend their DU classes.  However, they will not meet in person, and instead be held RTV (real time virtual).
  • All other Seniors will have no school.
