Thursday Night At Holland: Thursday night is shaping up to be one of the biggest evenings of the winter season as our long-time rival, West Ottawa, comes to town, and every matchup is happening at home. With all five basketball teams and varsity wrestling competing at HHS, it’s a full night of action that you won’t want to miss. The evening tips off at 4:00 p.m. with a doubleheader as JV boys basketball takes the floor in the aux gym while JV girls basketball battles it out in the Dome. At 5:30 p.m., the action ramps up with two more matchups. Boys' freshman basketball takes over the aux gym, while girls varsity opens up the varsity showdowns in the Dome. Meanwhile, the spotlight shifts to the mats at 6:00 p.m. as varsity wrestling takes over the Commons. Yes, the commons! Rivalry duals are always electric, and with the crowd right on top of the action, the energy is sure to be unmatched. If you're coming in for basketball, be sure to arrive early or stay late to catch some of the wrestling action in the battle for the hammer! The night culminates at 7:30 p.m. with boys varsity basketball in the Dome. We expect a packed house with a DJ on site in the Dome, fun and exciting student sections, and hard-fought battles as our teams play in one of the season’s most anticipated games. Get here early, be loud, and cheer on the Holland High Dutch! WEAR RED!!!
