Art Club: April ART CLUB meetings will be during A lunch AND after school on 4/21 and 4/28. Come one, come all! Room C-1305.

Senior Cap and Gown Information: Seniors, your Jostens graduation announcements, accessories, and cap and gown products will be delivered at school in the PAC lobby during both A and B lunches on Friday, April 17th. If you owe a balance, please make sure that it is paid in full prior to delivery. Please make sure that you pick up your items at that time.  If anyone still has not placed their order, please do so online at www.jostens.com asap.

Holland Band Color Guard Auditions: Calling all HHS Students! Are you looking for something fun, new, and different to do this summer and fall that incorporates the artistry of spinning and tossing flags with dance and choreography? Consider joining the Color Guard section of the HHS Marching Band! The color Guard is an integral part of the visual effect that contributes to the success of the band! Come to our first informational Color Guard Experience Night on Wednesday, April 15th, from 6-8 p.m. in the HHS Band Room (K1854). Learn some new skills and check out what we're all about! Can't come on April 15th? No problem! We will also have Experience Nights on April 20th and 29th. Come to any or all! The more you can attend, the better! May dates to be announced. No prior skills or dance experience necessary! This is open to ALL current HHS 9th-11th graders! Hope to see you there!

Holland Prom: Prom is just around the corner! Get your tickets now, before it's too late! Where is Prom this year? Boatwerks in Holland. When: Friday, April 24th, from 8-11 pm. Ticket Info: $60 per person at hhsdances.ludus.com or in the SSO AFTER school or during LUNCH only. Tickets are on sale NOW. Ticket sales end at 3:15 pm on Thursday, April 23. Tennis: Last Tuesday, Holland fell to Hudsonville 5-3 in a non-regional and non-conference match. Hudsonville got all singles, Holland was able to respond back and earn wins at 1, 2, and 3 doubles. Earning wins for the Dutch were the #1 doubles team of Kate Ferguson and Sophia Poretta, the #2 doubles team of Amaya Hallacy and Ally Valentine and the #3 doubles team of Lena D'Addona and Emma Palmeteer. "I am proud of how the team played today," said Holland coach Annika Williams. "We are playing really good tennis right now with the right mentality." 

Men's Golf: The Holland High School Boys Golf team won the Wooden Shoe Invitational at Macatawa Golf Club with a team score of 317, navigating relentlessly shifting winds to finish six strokes ahead of second-place West Ottawa (323). Holland Christian and Zeeland West tied for third at 324, with Hamilton (339) and Zeeland East (355) rounding out the field. Senior Andrew Legg led Holland with a 73, the second-lowest round of the day. Junior Graham Thompson added an 80, seniors Preston Logan and freshman Sam Howell each shot 82, and junior Sawyer Dewitt and senior Josiah Vanhekken each contributed an 89.

Women's Soccer: On Wednesday night, Holland hosted Spring Lake and lost the conference match 6-0. "Spring Lake is an excellent team," said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. "We played very well in the first half, but we could not hold them off in the second half. I was happy with our effort, but it was difficult to maintain our emotional energy in the second half." Holland is now 0-5.

Testing Starts promptly at 7:45 am.  ARRIVE EARLY.  Testing will be completed by approximately 11:05 am.   Students will have lunch after testing and attend afternoon classes. 9th, 10th & 12th grade students will attend regularly scheduled classes today.
