Wow, our first couple weeks of school have flown by! We have had a POWERful start to the year, and have many more great things to come to Jefferson this month.
Pax the POWER Pup
Our Jefferson students met Pax the POWER Pup! Pax is our school mascot that will help encourage our Jefferson students to learn the school POWER expectations:

Engaged
Respect
As our Jefferson students learn and show that they know the POWER expectations, they will receive Power H Bucks. Students will save their Power H Bucks to spend at our Power H store! Our first Power H Store will be this Friday, September 9.
Pax and Power H Bucks help encourage our students to have positive behavior. You can help at home by asking your Jefferson student(s) to tell you about our POWER expectations!

Fall Assessments
During the next couple weeks our Jefferson students will be participating in reading and math assessments. These assessments will help our staff determine each Jefferson student’s areas of academic strength and areas that need growth. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
