Tulip Time KinderParade - Details and Digital Permission Slip
HPS Students (grades 1-5) are invited to participate in the Tulip Time KinderParade on Thursday May 12.
- If your planning on your child walking in the parade, you must fill out the form below by Monday, May 2.
We're excited for this tradition to continue for our community and for our students!
The KinderParade is Thursday, May 12. The Parade steps off at 2pm.
- Wednesday May 11 is now a FULL day of school.
- Thursday, May 12 is a half day of school. Dismissal at 11:35am.
- Friday, May 13 is now a half day of school. Dismissal at 11:35am. (Friday is the rain day for the KinderParade. If there is rain on Thursday, students will walk in the parade on Friday. Regardless of the weather on Thursday, Friday will be a half day of school)
On the day of the parade, school will dismiss at 11:35am. Students participating in the parade will need to return to their building by 1pm, dressed in their costume, to catch a bus with their classmates to the head of the parade route. The bus will leave the school at 1:15pm.
All HPS students will march in Division 3 during the parade.
When they are done marching in the parade (approximately 3pm), you will pick up your child at the Kollen Park Boat Launch, between 12th and 13th Streets, no later than 3:20pm.
