Summer School

June 21 – July 29  from 9am to Noon in the HHS OW Labs.

This past school year has presented a series of challenges for students both academically and personally.  For many, this has created a need for credit recovery. To graduate from Holland High School, a student must have 22 credits, with 18 of those credits being specific Michigan Merit Curriculum courses.

Students who have fallen behind are encouraged to apply for the 2021 session of summer school in an effort to get back on track to graduate on time.

There is NOT a work from home option: partial or full time. Attendance in Mandatory.

Apply: Summer School 2021

Summer school placement will be confirmed via student school email the last week of school, and final details will be provided at that time.

How is summer school different from OW working at home?

Summer school is fully staffed with teachers, lab assistants, and support staff.  Students are required to attend daily, which provides structure and purpose.  Students are given daily goals and monitored to make sure they are making progress.  Content area teachers will be available for students who are struggling with the material.  For the more difficult material staff will work in small groups to help students continue moving forward.
