Return to In-Person Learning at Holland High on Monday, April 19

Students at Holland High, HEC and HVRT will return to in-person learning on Monday, April 19.

We continue to work collaboratively with the Ottawa County Department of Public Health in monitoring county and local data related to the spread of COVID-19 among school-aged students. I am pleased to report that this week, 0% of our student-athletes tested positive for COVID-19 as part of our rapid antigen testing 6-12. This weekly testing will continue and be one data point for us as we make decisions into the future. In addition, we have had less than five new positive student cases across the district this week.

Based upon this local data for our schools, and with the support of OCDPH, Holland High School students (including HEC and HVRT) will return to in-person instruction on April 19.

The schedule for the week of April 19 will be:

  • Monday and Tuesday:  A Days
  • Wednesday and Thursday:  B Days
  • Friday:  No School / Professional Development

Please watch for more information regarding state testing next week.

Thank you for your continued support. Please remember to continue to demonstrate personal responsibility during this time, and continued practices of our social distancing and mitigation strategies.
