Holland High School to Shift to Remote Instruction

HOLLAND HIGH SCHOOL (HHS, HEC and HVRT)  will be transitioning to remote instruction for the remainder of this week: March 31-April 1. All other HPS buildings will operate as scheduled.

As you may be aware from local media sources, there is an increase in positivity rates that are impacting the number of COVID-19 cases in high schools across the county and state. Unfortunately, this impact in now impacting Holland High School.

As a result,  HHS/HEC/HVRT will be moving to remote learning for Wednesday, March 31 and Thursday, April 1. Please watch for detailed information from Mrs. Pennington regarding 9-12 specific information.

Our elementary and middle school programs will continue to operate on their regular schedule for the remainder of this week. A reminder that there is no school on Friday.

As a proactive measure, students in grades PreK-8 will come home with their devices and chargers on Thursday, in the event that we need to transition these programs into remote learning following our spring break recess. At this time, we are planning to return to our regular schedule unless there is another state order that does not allow us to do so. Please make sure that students bring their devices/chargers back to school with them following spring break on Monday, April 12.

This has been a year of many twists and turns, and we continue to appreciate your patience and support.

On this final note, wherever your travel plans, destinations, or journeys may take you in the coming days; may you return safely, healthy, and rejuvenated for a strong finish to our school year.
