CFHZ Scholarship Opportunities

Scholarship season is here! Take a look at several opportunities from Community Foundation of Holland/Zeeland.

Winter greetings from CFHZ. Scholarship season is near! Will you please help spread the word about our opportunities and application deadlines?

FEBRUARY 14 (Valentine’s Day) DEADLINE

Both of the following Haworth scholarship opportunities are available to the public! Haworth applications are due at 5:00 p.m. EST on February 14: 2021 Haworth Application

Haworth Skilled Trades Scholarship: This is a $2,000 scholarship for students who can confirm enrollment in a 12 to 24-month certification, associates (A.A.A.S.), or skilled trade/vocational program in one of the following areas: Carpentry, CNC Programming, Electrical, Electronics Technology, Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning [HVAC] Technician, Industrial Maintenance, Machinist, Machine Repair, Manufacturing Technology, Model Maker, Plumbing, Tool and Die, or Welding.

Haworth Diversity Scholarship with Paid Work Experience: This is a $2,000 scholarship for minority students currently enrolled in an undergraduate college or university with freshman, sophomore, or junior status at the time of the application due date. Applicants must be studying Business, Design, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, or Supply Chain. Along with this scholarship there is an opportunity for a 12-week paid Haworth work experience. 

MARCH 1 DEADLINE

Students should visit the “Scholarships” pages of our website, www.cfhz.org, for more information about general CFHZ scholarships. Applications are due at 5:00 p.m. EST on March 1: 2021 CFHZ Scholarship Application

APRIL 1 and AUGUST 1 DEADLINE

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 104 Police Academy Scholarship: This scholarship is for State of Michigan residents who are accepted and enrolling in any state certified police academy in Michigan.  Applications are due at 5:00 p.m. EST on April 1 for summer academy attendance and August 1 for fall academy attendance: 2021 FOP Lodge 104 Police Academy Scholarship Application
