District Champs!
Holland will play Gull Lake in Vicksburg next Wednesday night in the Regional semifinal.
Holland defeated Holland Christian 1-0 to earn the Division 2 District 18 Championship. The Holland goal was scored by T.J. Vreeman. Goalie Paul Klomparens and the Holland defense earned the shut-out. “Holland Christian applied incredible pressure throughout the game,” said Holland coach Greg Ceithaml. “They were relentless and had us on our heels for most of the match. Luckily, T.J. Vreeman directed a free kick into their box and it went in. We will learn from this game and work to improve our play in practice before our Regional semifinal next Wednesday.”
