Hearing Impaired Early Childhood Program
My name is Linn Hein. I teach in the Hearing Impaired Early Childhood classroom at Holland West . The program is a center based program, servicing students in the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District. My classroom has two sessions (morning 8:17-11:17 and afternoon 12:30-3:04). My morning session consists of younger students ranging in age from 3-5 yrs. and my afternoon session consists of older students ranging in age from 4-7 yrs.. I have a wonderful assistant during my morning session, Amy Obbink. Our classroom is located at the front of the building ( Room 512). We provide a language rich preschool experience focusing on attainment of individual IEP goals as well as support our students who are also mainstreamed part time into the general ed. classrooms in their home districts.
