I am the Upper Elementary Teacher in Holland's Categorical Program for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Located at Holland West, we provide as many opportunities as possible for children to learn and play with their typically developing peers.
We follow current best practices for educating children with autism using a multidisciplinary team approach. For each child we create an individualized educational plan which helps him or her in the areas of academics, social skills, behavior, communication and sensory integration issues.
