Hello. I'm Jennifer Roels, this is my sixth year teaching at Holland High. I received my bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University in psychology and special education gaining experience through Grand Haven Area Public Schools and the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District. I grew up on the north side of Holland but now live in Hudsonville. My husband and I welcomed our son into the world one year ago. He is my pride and joy! I am one of the teachers in the CI Program. My classroom focuses mainly on daily living skills. I am proud to be a part of a wonderful team of professionals that support and encourage students to improve academic, social, and life skills, as well as to build self-esteem and employability skills. The goal is for students to grow into positive, independent, contributing members of society.
I enjoy helping and inspiring others. Teaching, children, family, camping, canoeing, kayaking, quading and animals are also some of my interests. Competitive cheerleading is a passion of mine as well. I formerly coached the freshman, junior varsity and varsity competitive cheer teams at West Ottawa High School for five years.
