New Parking Guidelines

In an effort to increase the number of available parking spaces for ALL members of our school, the following areas are available for ONLY student parking for spring 2011:
•The Remainder of the parking spaces in the old “student lot”
•The “New” Lot on 24th Street across from Hydro
•The Parking Lot utilized for baseball games. Entrance to this parking lot is off of Ottawa Avenue.
Additionally, the parking lot behind the cafeteria will be open for limited student parking. However, students may park only in the middle two rows of this lot. No students will be allowed to park in the spaces on the edges.
Let me also remind students and staff of the following guidelines:
•Parking is allowed in legal spots only. This means cars must be parked within the painted lines to allow for maximum spot usage.
•NO PARKING IS ALLOWED IN HANDICAPPED PARKING WITHOUT A PROPER HANDICAP PERMIT.
* No parking is allowed in Fire Lanes.
•A student parking permit must be visible at all times.
We would also encourage students to consider other ways you can arrive at school. This means you should investigate opportunities to carpool, bike, or walk to school. Only consider driving if absolutely necessary.
Ticketing and booting of cars in violation of legal and school guidelines has begun, and will continue next year.
